Imps look for 'market opportunities' in summer transfer window

MICHAEL Skubala said Lincoln City have to make the most of “market opportunities" to maximise their recruitment gain in the transfer window.

The latest opportunity they made the most of was James Collins, an experienced striker with a strong goal record who was in search of game time come January, having been frozen out at Derby.

The Imps pushed the boat out financially to grab Collins, who lived locally, and were rewarded for that risk as he went on to score 10 times in just 14 starts after joining, with another season guaranteed.
