LINCOLN City's preseason got off to a winning start with a solid opening performance against Championship opponents Hull City.

James Collins opened the scoring after 15 minutes, heading home an Erik Ring corner, before Jovon Makama struck with a powerful effort on a counterattack as the Imps won 2-0.
Jack Moylan also saw a late effort clip the outside of a post.
