Wesham Road Runners joined those clubs starting the Mid Lancs cross country season at Crooklands Showground.

The senior women and over-70 men ran 6.3km with Helen Lawrenson (31:55) leading the ladies.
Cara Rawlinson (33:46) was next, followed by Alona Versinina (36:01), Kat Fawcett (37:50), Clare Belfield (40:40), Anne Berry (41:02) and Kirsty Holland (45:34).
