HE PLIED VICTIMS WITH ALCOHOL THEN FILMED THEM ON SPY CAMERAS

Twisted TA kept a list of the boys he abused

A TEACHING assistant at a special needs school who preyed on vulnerable boys by playing twisted 'truth or dare' sex games has been jailed for 12 years.

Daniel Clarke could be one of the most prolific sex offenders in the UK as detectives believe there could be more than 80 victims - many of whom are yet to be identified.

Clarke can now be named after the Birmingham Mail and other media outlets successfully challenged a court order which previously granted him anonymity.

He met his victims while working at a Solihull school and through his role with a Midland charity which organised activities for children with special educational needs.

Some parents even forked out "significant amounts of money" to hire Clarke as an out-of-hours personal assistant, trusting him to take their children on activities and to his own home.

Clarke, 28, of Signal Road, Bloxwich, admitted making indecent photographs of children, three counts of sexual assault of a child, two counts of sexual activity with a child and three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity between 2013 and 2024.

Clarke was also barred for life from working with children, handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and told he must remain on the Sex Offenders' Register for life.
