Apparently, it's my fault that my inner-mind rejected hypnotherapist's efforts to cure my comfort eating

- HANNAH JONES Editor-In-Chief, In Your Area

HAVE you ever had therapy? I have, loads of times. I've had hypnotherapy and CBT, sound baths and NHS-sanctioned talking therapy. I’ve gone this way and that, only to return to the maze in my head via a new backdoor.

with myself and how I look.

My first experience was with a man who greeted me with a bespoke relaxation CD he’d made me. WITH MY FACE ON THE COVER.

I was way larger at the time and having tried every diet under the sun, I thought I'd see if somebody could help me think myself thin(ner).

I went with an open mind, and the hope that he'd find something in my noodle that would flip a switch, make my self-esteem plump up and my need to self-medicate with family-sized bars of Fruit and Nut slimmer.
