A WALSALL business man has rebranded his pharmacy name after another chain trading under the same title suffered 'financial and operational issues.

Manjit Jhooty, CEO and director of Pasab Ltd and Jhoots Healthcare, better known as Jhoots Pharmacies, has now rebranded his company to JHL Pharmacy.

He made the move after another pharmacy chain trading as Jhoots Pharmacies, operated by his brother Sarbjit Jhooty, has been at the centre of union allegations of staff going without pay and repeated cases of branches being closed.

All 150 pharmacies in the Jhoots brand are owned by one of the two brothers from Walsall.

Throughout the turmoil, Manjit has remained steadfast in the fact that all of his 21 stores are unaffected and remain open as usual.
