MYSTERY surrounds the future of a new Birmingham chip shop which opened to rave reviews but has been closed for several weeks.
Fine Catch in Sutton Coldfield
Fine Catch in Lower Parade, Sutton Coldfield, promised traditional British fish and chips, with a Scottish twist with dishes including haggis and black pudding.
It opened at Christmas, in the former Halloumi Express premises, promising a taste of the Scottish coast in the heart of the country in Sutton.
Its advertising line on its Facebook page said: "Welcome to Fine Catch in the heart of Sutton Coldfield.
