My mission to help boys grow up to be good men

A DATING guru has made it his mission to mentor schoolboys in Birmingham after Netflix show Adolescence sparked concerns over the misuse of social media and toxic masculinity.

Dating coach and author Kieren Brown, from Erdington, says he’s eager to see the new generation of boys grow up to be good men.

The 42-year-old is planning to kick off a public speaking tour in schools around the city where he will guide and mentor youngsters.

The real-life ‘Hitch’ who teaches men struggling to find love how to love themselves first, believes his skills will transfer well into the classroom.

Kieren says he wants to be frank with children and “won't insult their intelligence”.
