Albion will be hoping to put on a show in an historic occasion for the club.

ALBION will be hoping to put on a show in an historic occasion for the club.

The Baggies are celebrating 125 years at their iconic home as Derby, the first-ever visitors to The Hawthorns in September 1900, return today.

The players will wear shirts donning the ‘125 years at The Hawthorns’ logo and details of the fixture. Each will sign their shirt, which will then be available via auction in aid of The Albion Foundation.

The Woodman Corner scoreboard will return for one game only, with the screen in that area of the ground dedicated to providing the scores from up and down the country.

Manager Ryan Mason said: “It's a very historic day for the football club, for the stadium. I think it goes to show what a special club this is, to have that type of anniversary.
