MAAC team goes distance in forest running festival

MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) was delighted to be the headline sponsor of the Cannock Chase Running Festival, with a team of its staff also taking part.

The team joined other runners to take on the challenge, alongside a group from M6toll, whose support of MAAC enabled the charity to become the festival's headline sponsor.

The festival, in Cannock Chase Forest, on April 13, hosted a range of different events including a Half Marathon, a 10K, 5K and a juniors race.

The first 50 participants that signed up with MAAC also received a free runner's vest from the charity.
