Klarer: We must deliver more from set-pieces

CHRISTOPH Klarer has told Birmingham City they need to continue to improve on their set-piece game after plundering three against Portsmouth.

Blues bounced back to form with a 4-0 hammering of Pompey, the first three goals from Paik Seung-ho, Tomoki Iwata and Klarer all coming from restarts. Keshi Anderson rounded off the rout late on.

Three set-piece goals in 52 minutes was more than the two they had managed in the first 12 games of the season and captain Klarer demanded more from his men.

"Of course we know it’s an important part of the game and we haven't been good enough so far in this season," he said.
