A GRANDMOTHER was left in intense pain after falling asleep in her garden.

Jean Hill developed an infection and shingles that left her so puffy she was unrecognisable.
The 67-year-old had decided to sit in her garden in Kidderminster on May 1 to enjoy the sunny weather, with temperatures in the late 20s.
The retired cleaner fell asleep for "10 or 15 minutes" during which time her sunglasses fell off her face.
She woke up and continued her day - but when she arose the next morning, her eye was swollen shut and blistered with white spots.
