Family's cruise ship dash after van and suitcases stolen

A HOLIDAYING family whose van was stolen during an overnight stop in Walsall still managed to reach Southampton in time to catch a cruise ship to the Canary Islands.
-
They did so after a plea to the thieves to return their belongings failed.
Ashley Mackenzie and her husband Bryan woke to find their transit van - containing all their luggage - had vanished from the car park of the Village Hotel in Walsall.
