MOSELEY SUPPORTS LARGE RANGE OF NEWLY-OPENED BUSINESSES

'Cool' neighbourhood making a comeback

IN recent years, it could be argued Moseley has lost its place as Birmingham’s coolest neighbourhood.

That's not for its lack of cool bohemian bars, cafes and shops, but more the fact other areas (here’s looking at you, Stirchley) have outstripped it with award-winning trendy hangouts and hotspots.

But with Moseley Village train station on the horizon, due to open in 2026, and a flurry of new openings to enjoy, it looks like Moseley is making something of a comeback.

While it lost its Michelin Star restaurant Carter's of Moseley in 2024, newcomer Satori was added to the Michelin Guide in January, sparking a year of good news for the area.

New venues have seen strong support from the community throughout the year and it's inspired others to set up new businesses.

Among the new additions this year are Dough and Fire, Double Six board game cafe, Bloom Cafe, Sapore Italiano and Greek Aura.
