Club looking for Solis as Leonard attracts interest

BLUES are reportedly closing in on a transfer deal to sign Colombian midfielder Jhon Solis.

Solis has spent the last three seasons playing for La Liga side Girona but now looks set to join Blues' project.
Blues are in the market for a midfielder to complement Paik Seung-ho and Tommy Doyle with Marc Leonard expected to find a new club this month.
Solis has made 49 appearances in La Liga for Girona and played five times in the Champions League last term.
The 21-year-old joined Girona from Medellin-based Atletico Nacional in 2023 and has been capped by Colombia up to under-16 level.
