Chris tells striker: It's all over and DON with

LYNDON Dykes has been told to get his head down and finish the year strongly at Blues after missing out on a deadline-day move.

Hibernian tried to sign Dykes at the end of the summer transfer window but couldn’t reach an agreement with Blues.

A loan move was in the offing but the two parties couldn’t settle on terms and Blues also had concerns about leaving themselves short up front.

Dykes wanted the move to give himself the best chance of making Scotland’s 2026 World Cup squad if they qualify for the tournament.

Blues manager Chris Davies is keen to draw a line in the sand and welcome Dykes back after the striker added two more Scotland caps to his collection in the past week.

Davies said: “He still played for Scotland, even though he hasn't been playing here, and there's a couple of times that (Scotland manager) Steve Clarke has put him back in, even though he hasn’t been starting games so much here.
