BECKY HAD NO TECH BACKGROUND BUT SAW A PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
A BIRMINGHAM woman who feared for her safety living alone has created a new daily check-in app for emergencies.
Founder Becky Watson, 32, designed the All Good app, a check-in tool that alerts loved ones if those who live alone miss a regular daily check-in.
The idea came one night when she realised that if she had an accident or medical emergency at home, it might be days before anyone noticed.
“I live alone and work remotely and I suddenly thought, if something happened to me, nobody would know until it was too late,” said Becky, who lives in Hodge Hill.
“That idea troubled me.”
