Campaigners await Farage as he heads to Brum conference

PROTESTERS have pledged to meet Nigel Farage and Reform UK with opposition at “every opportunity’ ahead of the party’s conference in Birmingham next week.

Stand Up To Racism plan to hold a demonstration showing the city is against the intimidation of “completely innocent people.”

Mr Farage is set to lead the Reform UK conference at Birmingham's NEC on September 5 and 6.

Stand Up To Racism protesters plan to show their dissent outside on the Friday and have made a rallying call for others to join them.

There has been an increase in protests as tensions flare and anti-migrant groups demonstrate in major towns and cities.

But there has also been an outcry from campaigners after Mr Farage indicated his plan to deport 600,000 migrants within five years if Reform gets into power.
