TOWN MEET-UP TO 'SORT OUT' DISPUTE ENDED IN HORRIFIC ATTACK

Boys sentenced after teen is knifed in chest

TWO teenagers who stabbed a 15-year-old to death after one of them vowed to teach him 'a lesson' have been sent to prison and a young offender institute.

Isaac Brown, described as “fun and mischievous” by his devastated family, was knifed in the chest in New Square, West Bromwich, on April 7 last year.

The teenager, who was with two friends, had arranged to meet up with Reehan Nezir, 18, and a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to ‘sort out’ a dispute.

Police said it came after a 12-year-old boy had been assaulted and had his jacket stolen by a group which included the two defendants in Smethwick at around 6.30pm that day.

Isaac knew the robbery victim through a friend and circulated various messages on social media to find out the identity of the attackers.

The defendants communicated with Isaac and his friend on social media, which escalated tensions between the two groups.
