Blues men who may not make leap to next level

Blues spent big last summer to acquire 17 new players and very few of them didn’t make an impression.

However, there is always a natural rotation at this time of year and Blues are determined to strengthen their squad. That means some players will fall by the wayside.

Here are five players whose futures are uncertain heading into the summer transfer window...

Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Chris Davies always protected Peacock-Farrell publicly but there was a clear gulf between Blues’ number one and number two goalkeepers last season.

When Peacock-Farrell was called upon at Bolton Wanderers in early March he looked jittery and Blues went on to suffer their only league defeat in 2025. It was no surprise to see Davies restore Ryan Allsop to the XI as soon as his ankle healed.
