Larkhall given tough tie in opening round
Bath Chronicle
|July 10, 2025
Larkhall Athletic have been handed a tough tie to begin this season's FA Cup.
The Larks will travel to Southern League Division One Central side Beaconsfield Town, who finished 11th last season after being relegated from the Premier Division South in 2023/24.
Larkhall themselves will be hoping for a better campaign than last term, and this extra preliminary round tie on August 2 will serve as a big test.
If Larkhall manage to progress, they will be on the road once again on August 16 to take on the winners of Combined Counties League Wokingham & Emmbrook and Western League side Brislington.
Corsham Town have been handed a home tie and will welcome fellow Hellenic League Premier Division side Slimbridge to the Secure Stadium.
The Quarrymen finished tenth last season, with Slimbridge 16th.
Corsham beat Slimbridge 3-0 in March, having lost the reverse fixture 5-2 in November.
