Get ready to end the year on a high note with the Silpakorn Thailand Jazz Competition 2025, a celebration of creativity, skill and the vibrant spirit of the genre.
Organised by the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, this annual competition stands out as one of Thailand's most anticipated jazz events, inviting talented young musicians and vocalists from across the country to showcase their artistry and passion for the genre. The final round will take place on Dec 14 at the historic Wang Tha Phra Auditorium, Silpakorn University.
Aiming to elevate Thai jazz to international standards, the competition provides a vital platform for students, emerging artists and independent musicians to develop their craft and perform in front of expert judges and enthusiasts. Open to participants from every region, the contest offers three main categories - Jazz Combo Open Division; Jazz Combo Youth Division; and Jazz Vocal Solo Competition - each designed to highlight the creativity, improvisation and expressive musicianship that lie at the heart of jazz.
