THE YEAR IN FASHION

From your fav celeb's fav brands to housing that defines full-circle style, this is Thailand's 2025 trend recap
Thailand has been one of Southeast Asia's largest hubs for viral fashion trends. Beyond the forefront of fashion weeks and celebrity social feeds, it is interesting to see how today's trends are shaped by everyday people out on the open street because of digital interconnectivity.
Contemporary style has evolved beyond the articles in our closets, extending into the activities we plan and the spaces we occupy — expanding fashion into a broader lifestyle narrative. With the year winding down, we're reflecting on the lifestyle trends that rose to the top of social charts this cycle.
Our country is full of talented under-the-radar designers whose work has been loved locally long before the rest of the world even noticed. But this year, the quiet rise started turning more heads.
Pipatchara, the sustainability-driven Thai fashion label which first entered wider conversations after being worn by Blackpink's Lisa last year, continued its upward trajectory in 2025 by expanding its creative scope. The brand's successful Aqua R Us fashion show highlighted innovative water-inspired fabrics and cemented Pipatchara's reputation as a visionary label blending style with local innovations.
Alongside this rise, leather goods brand Fundao has been carving its own distinct path. The brand's handcrafted bags, particularly the Ava series, have become wishlist staples for the minimal, quiet luxury closets that resonate especially with Gen-Z and millennial shoppers across the nation.
Monumentally for the brand, Rally Movement's “Rally The Bag” became one of the most recognisable accessories across social highlights and city scenes in 2025. Known for its playful approach, the brand’s unexpected collaborations, partnering with everyday names like UNO Coffee fostered endless conversations and unprecedented purchase rates.
