SX2025 sets global stage for sustainability action
Bangkok Post

ASEAN’s largest sustainability expo returns to Bangkok, uniting ideas, innovations, and collaborations under the theme “Sufficiency for Sustainability.”
-
The Sustainability Expo 2025 (SX2025), ASEAN’s largest and most influential sustainability event, will return to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) from 26 September to 5 October. Now in its sixth year, the Expo is expanding its collaborative platform to international networks, setting a new benchmark as a global stage for sustainability.
A DECADE OF DECISIVE ACTION
At a time when the world faces mounting challenges from natural disasters, climate volatility, and biodiversity loss, SX2025 calls on individuals, communities, and organisations to adapt wisely and work together in shaping a sustainable future. Guided by the theme “Sufficiency for Sustainability,” the ten-day event embodies the spirit of collective action during this decisive decade.
Tongjai Thanachanan, Director of the Organising Committee, emphasised that the Expo is inspired by the Royal Command and Royal Initiatives of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, continuing the legacy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. The event also aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing together diverse sectors to translate ideas into practical solutions.
“This platform connects ASEAN efforts to the world stage,’ Ms Tongjai said. “Itisa space forsharingknowledge, challenges, and opportunities while promoting adaptation and sustainable growth—economically, socially, and environmentally”
