State enterprises expedite investment spending push

The government has been accelerating economic stimulus efforts, with state enterprises disbursing a total of 219 billion baht, equivalent to 82% of the planned investment framework.

According to Tibordee Wattanakul, director-general of the State Enterprise Policy Office (Sepo), there are 43 state enterprises supervised by Sepo with a total investment budget of 265 billion baht for this year.

These are divided into state enterprises operating under the fiscal year system (October to September each year) and those using the calendar year.

As of the end of September, the total investment budget disbursement by the 43 state enterprises under Sepo tallied 219 billion baht, and enterprises using the calendar year can continue to disburse investment budgets until the end of 2025.
