Pareena gets jail for state land misuse

Former MP Pareena Kraikupt has been sentenced to four years and one month in prison for illegally occupying about 1,700 rai of state land in Chom Bung district.

Pareena: Free pending appeal
The judgement was announced by Ratchaburi Provincial Court yesterday. While the sentence was not suspended, Ms Pareena was released on bail after posting one million baht in cash surety, pending the result of her appeal.
