Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera has stood the test of time thanks to its unforgettable score, lavish staging and irresistible Gothic romance.

Iconic numbers like Music Of The Night and All I Ask Of You remain instantly recognisable, while the candlelit lair, crashing chandelier and opulent costumes immerse viewers in a world of mystery, obsession and exquisite beauty. Its blend of romance, horror and spectacle has made it a global phenomenon, appealing to newcomers and seasoned theatre fans alike.

Bangkok's staging of this legendary musical — boasting four decades of acclaim and over 70 major awards — returns in spectacular form. Tero Scenario and Thonburi Phanich deliver a production every bit as grand and polished as the West End, supported by a powerful main cast and ensemble whose precision elevates each scene.

The tale follows a mysterious masked figure haunting the Paris Opera House who becomes obsessed with a young soprano, Christine. As in Gaston Leroux's novel, the musical blends romance, horror and mystery to create an intoxicating Gothic atmosphere.

Leading the charge is Samuel Wyn-Morris as the Phantom. With fury, tenderness and aching vulnerability, he does not just sing the story - he lives it in every note, choreographing emotion with each breath and gesture so every phrase becomes a performance and every note a revelation. In him, you hear the "power of the music of the night", at times commanding and menacing, at others pleading for a love that will never be returned. His final moments are heartbreakingly devastating, cementing him as one of the definitive Phantoms of the 21st century.
