Offence still a big worry for unbeaten Philadelphia

Philadelphia seek to extend their unbeaten start to the NFL season when they host the Denver Broncos today, but there are signs their erratic offence is breeding frustration in the Super Bowl champions Eagles' locker room.

Wide receiver AJ Brown acknowledged this week he let his “frustrations boil over” in a cryptic X post after last weeks’ 31-25 victory over Tampa Bay, in which he caught just two passes for seven yards.

“If you're not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw,” Brown said in the post, insisting days later that it was not directed at the team or quarterback Jalen Hurts.

“My message on Twitter wasn’t directed at anyone in the building, not my coaches, not my quarterback, my [general manager], nobody,” Brown insisted, although he makes no apology for wanting to figure more prominently in an Eagles offence that ranks just 30th in total offence, next to last in passing offence and 16th in rushing.
