Nex Point promotes green fleet options to firms

Commercial electric vehicle maker Nex Point Plc, a subsidiary of renewable energy giant Energy Absolute (EA) Plc, is accelerating its push into Thailand’s fleet market with plans to sell 2,500 EVs next year, underscoring the company’s ambition to position itself as a key player in the region’s commercial EV sector.

Nex Point, which produces vehicles under the Nex and Mine brands, is targeting companies and state agencies seeking greener fleet solutions.

Chief executive Thanapat Suksuthamwong said the company aims to develop a “Thai national commercial vehicle” that supports long-term economic growth while reducing reliance on oil-powered transport.
