Ex-MPs face ethics probe

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has unanimously resolved to refer former Move Forward Party leader Pita Limjaroenrat and 43 other former MPs to the Supreme Court for alleged serious violations of ethical standards stemming from their submission of a bill to amend the Criminal Code.
Surapong Intarathawon, NACC deputy secretary-general, said yesterday the decision followed the completion of a fact-finding inquiry into the actions of the 44 MPs who jointly proposed the bill during their time in parliament.
