Company to join LiVEx next week

- SUCHIT LEESA-NGUANSUK

Data technology firm Real Smart Plc plans to list on LIVE Exchange (LiVEx) on Sept 25, part of its strategy to become a regional leader within five years.

LiVEx is an exchange under the Stock Exchange of Thailand that provides small and medium-sized enterprises and startups with access to fundraising.

The company's listing capitalises on Thailand's artificial intelligence (AI) market, which is expected to grow to 114 billion baht by 2030.

"The rise of major Al investments in the country could boost GDP by up to 6%," said Real Smart chief executive Phukij Distranon.

Moreover, the enterprise data analytics software market is expected to reach 92 billion baht this year, he said.

The company transformed itself from being an online monitoring service and data analytics provider in 2015 to become an Al tech company in 2024. This year it has utilised AI to transform its organisation and provide more AI products.

Real Smart posted compound average growth of 21.8% from 2020-2024, with nearly 200 million baht in revenue last year.

After the listing, it will use the capital to invest in Al technology to expand its capabilities and staff.
