Cult Japanese youth flick gets 4K theatrical release

When a student rock band is suddenly thrown into chaos — their guitarist injures his finger and the lead singer abruptly quits — the remaining members, Kei, Kyoko and Nozomi, refuse to give up. In a last-minute gamble they recruit Son, a shy Korean exchange student with almost no musical background, to step in as lead vocalist.

With only days to prepare, the four girls form an impromptu cover band determined to perform Linda Linda on stage. What follows is a gentle yet deeply resonant journey of late-night rehearsals, minor conflicts, awkward silences, bursts of laughter and gradual understanding.
