Canva to expand into Thailand
Bangkok Post
|December 04, 2025
Canva Pty Ltd, an Australian graphic design platform, is planning to expand into Thailand early next year.
Thailand is one of the company's top 20 strategic countries and among the top four in Southeast Asia thanks to the high usage of its tools here.
"Thailand is a strategic country where we will add a local office. We are in the process of recruiting the team," Pakapol Thangtongchin, country manager of Canva Thailand, told the Bangkok Post.
Canva has an office in the Philippines and plans to open offices in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam early next year.
The company said its product growth has been fuelled by word of mouth among Thai users, particularly students and teachers.
The platform's top three features in Thailand are presentation, which is the most popular among education and business users, followed by social media tools, which are used by creators and marketers, and document tools.
Canva plans to recruit more members of its local teams next year to drive marketing and social media activities, he said.
