Global forum lifts trade outlook
Mr Ekniti, left, Mr Anutin and Mrs Suphajee say Thailand benefited from participating in the annual Swiss summit.
Amid ongoing global geopolitical challenges, Thailand is ready to serve as part ofthe world’s food supply chain, says caretaker premier Anutin Charnvirakul.
Regarding the nation’s recent participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Mr Anutin said Thailand is viewed as playing an important role in ensuring food security and is well-positioned to attract international investment.
Thailand is scheduled to host the World Bank and International Monetary Fund annual meetings in October, he said, which should enhance the country’s international standing.
