Will becomes first city in India to launch city-level green vehicle policy on Sept 17
Surat will become the first city in India to roll out its own Green Vehicle Policy (GVP 2025) on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17. While states like Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have framed green mobility plans, Surat's policy is unique as it is city-led and backed by German agency GIZ.
