The region has the highest installed capacity of solar energy among all RE sources, contributing 94.4% of the total RE capacity of 4,578 MW
The upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRC) will see North Gujarat showcasing its Renewable Energy (RE) leadership in the wake of Gujarat's Mission 100 GW by 2030. The conferences will spotlight the state's green energy ecosystem initiatives like large-scale renewable energy parks, offshore wind projects, distributed solar initiatives, and modernised grid infrastructure being developed to fulfil energy and climate commitments.
