Grammy-winner Miley Cyrus has revealed that she attended the 2025 Academy Awards with a clear professional agenda — pitching her songwriting skills directly to filmmakers.

In an interview with People, the Grammy-winning singer said she used the occasion to make herself known as a potential collaborator for original film music. Cyrus explained that she made a point of raising the subject whenever she was introduced to someone new. "Everybody that came up and introduced themselves, I said, 'Well, if you need any music, I'm around,'" she said.
