From 55 to 99.4 percentile, Amreli boy enters IIM-Indore

Ahaskhan Pathan overcomes physical disability to score high in CAT

When Ahaskhan Pathan scored just 55 percentile in CAT-2023, his dream of studying at an Indian Institute of Management seemed shattered. The Amreli boy from a Gujarati medium government school fell into depression, started consulting a psychologist, and took up internships to fund his living expenses in Ahmedabad. A year later, his persistence paid off spectacularly. Ahaskhan not only scored 99.40 percentile in CAT-2024 but also secured admission to IIM-Indore. His journey from despair to triumph becomes even more remarkable considering he was born with a left hand that isn't fully grown. He secured admission through the quota for persons with disability.
