Congress doomed by opposing popular measures: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said no party can win elections by opposing everything people support, remarking that it was beyond his capacity to make Congress leader Rahul Gandhi grasp this “simple logic”.

Addressing a gathering at Navi Vanzar village near Ahmedabad, Shah referred to a recent Lok Sabha debate in which Rahul Gandhi asked why his party kept losing elections. “Instead of asking the people, he asked me. Rahul Baba will get the answer if he understands these initiatives that I have launched here,” Shah said.
