70% RTA cases are head injuries

On World Trauma Day on Friday, doctors issued a stark warning about road traffic accidents (RTAs).

Head injuries account for 70% of all RTA cases. Worse still, 30% of victims with severe injuries don't survive. The alert comes amid data showing a troubling rise in trauma incidents during festivals. Experts are now urging extra caution for the upcoming Diwali and Gujarati New Year celebrations.
