NURSERY where children feel ‘happy and secure’ and staff are ‘positive role models’ has received a glowing Ofsted report.

Praises of ‘ magic’ nursery

The Magical Kingdom Nursery And Preschool on Church Street, Accrington was visited by an inspector in May.

‘The school was awarded a ‘Good’ rating in all categories; quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management, resulting in a ‘Good’ rating.

‘The report, which was published on June 24, reads: “Staff offer children a warm welcome at this setting.

“Children are eager to enter and start their day.

“Staff have a good knowledge of children’s care and learning needs and adapt activities and the environment to support their needs.

“They help new children to settle by taking their hand and showing them where to hang their coat and how to access resources.”

Interactions between staff and pupils are described by the inspector as ‘warm and nurturing’ and the children’s behaviour as ‘good’
