'Good' nursery has strong parent partnerships

A NURSERY where staff are 'caring and attentive' has received a glowing Ofsted report.

Marshmallows Accrington was visited by an inspector in March who praised the nursery for staff's encouragement when children are struggling.
The nursery was rated 'Good' in all categories; quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management, resulting in a 'Good' grade overall.
The report, which was published on April 24, reads: "Staff greet children at the door when they arrive at the nursery.
"They are caring and attentive.
"Staff help children to leave their parents and carers and join other children to engage in learning.
"Staff know children well.
"Key persons confidently identify and support children's progress by using specific plans to target their learning.
"Leaders and staff work closely with other professionals to provide children with the best care and support available.
