One drowns, another missing in river mishap
A picnic outing turned tragic in Jharia on Saturday when five youths from Surunga Basti of Patherdih went to bathe in the Damodar River near Birsa Bridge under the Sudamdih police station area, resulting in two of them drowning—one confirmed dead and another still missing—while the remaining three were rescued with the help of locals, police said.
