Tykes taking nothing for granted in tough run-in

NATIONAL Two North pacesetters Leeds Tykes face a difficult run-in to get over the line and return to the third tier, but director of rugby Pete Seabourne is confident his side can get the job done after enjoying a refreshing bye week.

Leeds travel next weekend to the always-dangerous Fylde, who came into this weekend in fifth, before hosting third-place Sheffield in a tricky finalday encounter.

Seabourne's men now have Rotherham breathing down their necks after their Yorkshire foes beat the Tykes 32-26 to inflict their first loss of the season before the Easter interval, which Leeds have used to reset and re-energise.

"We were disappointed with the result against Rotherham but they managed the conditions better than we did," Seabourne told The Rugby Paper.

"With a couple games left, we know what we've got to do, so we're taking it one game at a time.

Tynedale showed yesterday they've got a big pack and are a good side.
