Tuesday night’s 3-0 win over Chichester City took the Millers to the halfway point of their Pitching In Isthmian South East campaign unbeaten.
It’s been a relentless run as they played catch-up on their division rivals following their run to the FA Cup first round proper.
They held League One big guns Charlton Athletic to a 1-1 away draw to land a money-spinning televised replay.
And while the Addicks eventually ran out 6-1 winners – Cray were level at 1-1 through Kyrell Lisbie’s penalty – it has given them the stage to push on with their league ambitions.
Up to second in the table, they still have games in hand on those around them and McKimm says the focus can’t waver.
“We’ve had an unbelievable first part of the season," McKimm told The NLP. "We're up to halfway through the league campaign without losing and we've had a good cup run, which helped the club out.
