Woodman's side take on an Altrincham side who have benefitted from an Eliminator bye and, with it, a well-earned week's rest in the battle to grace the Wembley stage for the Promotion Final on May 5.
Bromley discovered the perils of finishing outside the top three last season when a semi-final trip to Chesterfield proved a step too far just four days after they overcame Woking at Kingfield.
But while boss Woodman knows that the omission of Gateshead in this year's playoffs may give Altrincham a psychological edge, he's only focusing on the end goal; taking Bromley into the Football League.
"It's not a nice situation for anyone," Woodman told The NLP.
"It's a tricky one, and I feel for all parties, especially Robbie Elliot and Gateshead, but I'm trying to not take a view on it at the moment.
"It has affected us, of course. We wanted to finish third to give us that little extra advantage, but what's happened has happened.
"Now, it's just two teams going at it and wanting to get into the final. That's the simple facts. We're not going to make it a crutch for us to lean on, no chance.
