I've got my best squad yet' insists Town chief
HUNGERFORD Town boss Danny Robinson has hailed the current crop as the best squad he’s assembled in four years at Bulpit Lane.
The 38-year-old was forced to rebuild from scratch after relegation from National League South in 2023 left him with just three players on the books.
But after retaining the bulk of last season’s squad, Robinson is hopeful that this year’s additions will thrust the Crusaders into the promotion race after a disappointing eighth-place finish.
“It’s a massive difference from last season,” he admits. “At this stage, we still only had three players. Now we’ve got a squad of 23 that we feel will push us on and get us where we want to be.
