NEIL YOUNG wants Marine's summer shopping to make people sit up and take notice

The Pitching In NPL Premier outfit have made some impressive signings this off-season as they look to push their way into the Step 3 promotion picture having finished eighth last season.

Since former Chester boss Young arrived, it's been year-on-year progression with a famous FA Cup date against Premier League giants Spurs before promotion back to their current level and Liverpool Senior Cup glory.

Now Young wants to keep moving forward and he hopes bringing in some more Non-League nous will aid their cause.

"The big thing for me this year was we had to break the stigma a little bit," Young told The NLP.

"The only player we've really brought in since I've been here who has played a lot higher was Niall Cummins. He did really well for us.
