Pools' impressive early season form had suffered in recent weeks but Eastleigh had no answer to this second half performance to climb back into a play-off spot.

And, with the score 1-1 at half-time, it was Dieseruvwe's double inside 11 minutes after the restart that ensured there was no way back for the Spitfires.

The 28-year-old dived to head in Luke Hendrie's cross in the 53rd minute before then turning Joe Grey's low delivery into the net in the 64th minute  to seal a much-needed second from matches.
