Despite being early one of the league’s early pace setters, the Rebels never really troubled Lucas Covolan in the Stones’ goal as Maidstone boss George Elokobi got his tactics spot on.

“Full credit to our group of players. This week we tried to drive in a lot of tactical information into their heads,” said Elokobi. “We’ve worked on it practically out on the pitch, especially out of possession. We’ve had Worthing watched on several occasions, we know how they play and they do change their style. If you don’t get it right, you will come unstuck. I thought the players took in the information perfectly.”
